For under $200, this iPhone 12 is a steal! It’s the least expensive iPhone that Amazon is discounting for Prime Day. Like the iPad above, this iPhone 12 is inspected, tested and cleaned by Amazon-qualified suppliers and shouldn’t have any visible cosmetic imperfections when you hold it at arm’s length. It’s from 2020, so don’t expect to be blown away by its features compared to modern devices.
However, for someone who wants a slightly larger and better quality screen, this is the one to get over the SE. It’s also fully unlocked so just pop in your active SIM card and you should be ready to go.
2020 Apple iPad 8th Generation (10.2-inch, Wi-Fi + Cellular, 32GB), Now $128, Was $166
This is essentially the same iPad from above but with the added cellular functionality. If you don’t have a Wi-Fi hotspot nearby, this would be a great choice. Unfortunately, this one also comes with very low storage space. At only 32GB, you’re going to go through that very quickly, even with just iOS. However, if you just want a device that can stream videos, go on social media and other basic tablet functionality without the need for a Wi-Fi connection (you still need to pay for a SIM card and cellular service), this one is hard to beat—especially for under $130!
Apple iPhone SE 3rd Gen, 128GB, Midnight – Unlocked (Renewed), Now $185, Was $219
This renewed iPhone SE is the generation of the SE model line that came out in 2022 and brings back the classic design of the iPhone 8. I bought this same iPhone SE for my 74-year-old mom a few years back when they were new, and for Facebook, phone calls, streaming videos and texting, it works perfect for her. She can only use one hand, so it’s also a great option for disabled individuals who can’t use the massive modern smartphones you see today.
Because the SE is already a discount version of the iPhone, you’re only saving about $60. However, that’s still a 23% discount. While the camera and screen aren’t the best compared to flagship iPhones, if you just need basic functionality, you should consider the SE.
