I’m no professional baker, but I’ve made my fair share of cookies, cakes, muffins and other desserts over the years. And I don’t know what I would do without my KitchenAid stand mixer, which has been going strong since 2004 and helping me whip up all of my favorite baked goods.
If you’re looking to treat yourself to this iconic appliance ahead of the holidays, now is a great opportunity. That’s because the KitchenAid Artisan Series 5 Quart Stand Mixer is currently on sale for $120 off during Amazon Prime Big Deal Days, bringing the price down from $500 to $380. It’s the lowest price I’ve seen on this appliance all year!
This KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer is large enough to make nine dozen cookies but small enough to fit on your counter without taking up tons of space. There are six speed settings; I like to mix cake batter on speed four, whipped cream on speed eight and icing on speed 10. Plus, the tilt-head design makes it easy to add your ingredients in as you go along.
Additionally, this KitchenAid mixer looks gorgeous on the countertop. It boasts a sleek, attractive design that comes in over 20 gorgeous colors, including butter yellow, cherry red, baby blue and a burnt orange shade that’s perfect for Halloween. Along with the mixer, you’ll get a stainless steel bowl, a dough hook, a flat beater, a six-wire whisk and a pouring shield. And you can order attachments like the pasta maker and the meat grinder to pair with it and make it even more versatile.
With the holiday season coming up, this mixer also makes a great gift, and reviewers agree. “I bought this KitchenAid mixer as a gift for my daughter, and she is absolutely in love with it! The quality is solid, powerful and reliable,” one reviewer wrote. “The color is gorgeous and really pops on the kitchen counter. It’s not just a mixer — it’s a statement piece.”
Other reviewers also praise this mixer’s versatility and durability. “This is the most heavily used tool in my kitchen. I have had it for over six years now and it is still going strong today. It is unbelievably versatile. My friends are always jealous when they see this; most of them end up buying one for themselves.”
