What to Know About Subscriptions
- Depending on how much you print, you will eventually have to buy additional ink that’s compatible with your printer.
- Some manufacturers like HP require you to enroll in a mandatory subscription service upon purchase. These services may provide automatic cartridge replenish, ink delivery and a set number of pages printed per month. Canon, Brother and Epson offer optional subscription services. Plans range anywhere from basic free services to $3 a month on the low end and $25 a month on the high end.
- For paid subscriptions, most of them start after your year-long warranty is up.
