Now that it’s November, we’re all counting down the days until Thanksgiving—and by extension, Black Friday, aka everyone’s favorite ubiquitous annual sale event. But while the actual event doesn’t get here until Nov. 28, Nordstrom is starting the savings early this year.
Thanks to its “Early Black Friday” promotion, you can save an extra 30% off select clearance items from now through Nov. 11. And that’s on top of the original sale price. So, for instance, if you were to buy something that was originally on clearance for 30% off, you’ll save 60% in total!
And the best part? Anyone can cash in on the savings. Unlike some other Nordstrom sales, this one isn’t limited to cardholders, and there’s no coupon code required at checkout.
However, there are a few restrictions to the clearance sale. The extra 30% off is valid for select items only, and the website states that it does not include “price-matched items, beauty, designer (all departments), fine jewelry, men’s and women’s outerwear or drop-ship items on clearance.” The discount also cannot be applied to previous purchases, preorders or gift cards.
That said, all items that are included in the sale will be marked with a bright red “Extra Savings” tag, so they’ll be super easy to find. And the prices on those product pages will reflect the discount—no math needed.
